Controls Design & Panel Build

What is Panel Building? Can Stryver build and test your Electrical panels or other electrical devices such as custom-built electrical cables to print?

[Pictures of a few electrical items Stryver has built are below]

Panel building is a term used to describe the construction of electrical systems, including electrical boxes, to specified prints. Stryver has a highly skilled electrical assembly department that is ready to build your equipment to print. At Stryver, we complete our panel building in-house, and can build your panels to your prints too. We maintain a high quality of work and high build standards to ensure you receive a well-constructed end product built as directed. Panel Building to print is only one of many controls design services we offer.

Please see below for a list of controls design services Stryver offers:

  • Panel Building – standard OSHA compliant electrical cabinets, UL/ISO certified cabinets, Canadian CSA certified electrical cabinets
  • Custom Cable Building – Amphenol cables, assembly line EOL testing cables, cable assemblies build to print, custom cable design
  • Electrical Design – primary focus is for custom machinery, robotic systems, fixtures & tooling
  • Pneumatic / Hydraulic Controls Design - primary focus is for custom machinery, robotic systems, fixtures & tooling

If you need a machine’s controls redesigned and re-implemented to be safe, Stryver may be able to help. There are many benefits to choosing an integrator like Stryver that keeps a staff of highly skilled craftsmen employees. One of the biggest benefits is the quality of work. Nowhere on a fixture, robotic system or custom machine is an individual employee's contribution more apparent or noticeable than in the wiring & plumbing.

At Stryver, our electrical assemblers plumb and wire our equipment in house. Copper plumbing is our preferred method of routing air lines in welding and other high heat environments. We take the extra time to thread our wiring through silicone sleeving on many of our welding tools too for maximum protection. They are small touches, but important ones to build a welding tool that lasts 20 years, not two years. Similar quality is implemented in other tooling that is not required to withstand such harsh environments too.

Most of our customers have different, well-established standards and specifications we follow to ensure their tools are built exactly as needed. Once the customer specifications are received, they drive all aspects of the fixture or machine design, especially the electrical and pneumatic design.

How we build the inside of the electrical box is just as important as how we build the electrical components out on the fixture. Cables are routed and protected, and all components are spaced so air can flow in the box to minimize the possibility of overheating. We ensure the wiring is neatly arranged and all connector ends are properly labelled prior to arriving at your facility
